Here, especially for you, we have put together a simple and straight-forward mini guide of Do’s and Don’ts, that will help you plan a memorable, spooky and thrilling party:

DO’s

Set a Practical Budget: Halloween is all about frightening themes, wicked décor, ghostly costumes and scarily delicious food. If you are organising a party, the first step is to carefully weigh up all the expenses and make sure it is in within your allocated budget. At this time of the year it is so easy to get carried away with all the other bits and pieces and before you know it, you have gone overboard. Be careful as Thanksgiving and Christmas are lurking around the corner.

Choose a Great Theme: Undoubtedly, one of the intriguing and most looked forward parts of a Halloween Bash is the transformation of a normally tedious and professional workspace, home or garden into an arena of the dead. This time instead of going for familiar and typical themes, why not try a rare and interesting theme? Without a doubt, themes bring a cohesive energy to the party but make sure you choose a theme which is extraordinary and one will that wow your guests.

Set a Delicious yet Spooktacular Food Menu: The rule of thumb for Halloween Food is that “the less appetising, the better”. All Hallows is one of those frightening events where you can be as creative and creepy as you want. Don’t forget Pumpkins in Halloween are a Must and be sure to incorporate them in as much as you can as Halloween is not complete without a pumpkin.

Wear a Knockout Costume: Celebrate the day of the dead by looking like one. Unleash your imagination and be as artistic as you want to be with your costume. There is so much to choose from, whether you decide to go as a bloodthirsty vampire or a creepy zombie be sure to impress!

DON’Ts

Wear Inappropriate Attire: “If you are having a formal office party, dress nicely, if it is a theme party, follow the theme but dress appropriately.” Clearly, a Halloween theme demands an eerie costume, but there is a thin line between wearing something scary compared to something inappropriate. Choose a costume which is unusual yet comfortable, most of all have fun with it!

Be a Grinch: In every office space, there are some people who act like they are too cool to adjust. They will not participate on any level or simply complain and criticise things totally destroying the atmosphere of the party. Similarly, nobody likes a host who is interfering and acts like a Grinch. Be a happy, cheerful fun host whose aim is to make the guests feel at ease and have fun.

Overindulge in Alcohol: At a Halloween Party, lets' face it Alcohol is usually in plentiful supply. Specially created drinks such as cocktails or shots are created for this party which not only tastes good but it also encourages you to have more than you normally would. It is customary to drink a glass or two, but overindulgence can turn very messy. Monitor your alcohol intake and enjoy the party and come back merry and not as drunk as a skunk.

Halloween is a tremendous opportunity to simply unwind and spend this frightening night partying, chilling and relaxing. So take note of the above and have Spooktastic Time.
